2008 was eventful. From parties we organized, dramas that surfaced, new friends we made, old friends we reconnected with and new jobs.. it was one big blur. Christmas came and we promised we would buy a small Christmas tree. Thank God for Eric and Claire's Christmas gift (they gave us a parol), our house at least had 1 Christmas decoration. Although we still didn't get the chance to hang it outside, we did plug it--inside the house.
Here's hoping to a slower, smell-the-flowers-kind-of-deal, for 2009. Sometimes you get so caught up in life that you forget to breathe and appreciate the small things.
